You will report to the Vice President of Global Marketing and have a seat in the Global Marketing Management Team, together with the two other team leads in Global Marketing. You will manage a team of – currently – 5 full time employees and manage a designated budget.

The market framework conditions are changing and as a result the Vestas business model and proposition is being adjusted and tuned. From a marketing and positioning perspective, this represent both huge opportunities and risks. In other words, we will need a calm and competent hand to steer the campaigns and engagement area in the years to come.

Responsibilities

  • You will set the direction in line with our strategy and be responsible for developing, inspiring and growing your team, and establish a trusting and constructive working relationship with internal and external key stakeholders. In addition, your responsibilities will cover to:
  • Work with key stakeholders on campaign strategy and governance, and define the optimum partner architecture to support planning and execution of global campaigns
  • Handle and evaluate omni-channel activations across our offerings (product, service, capabilities, and brand), both up-funnel and down-funnel
  • Build good relations with key industry- and beyond outlets for paid and advertisement, off and online. Ensure coordination with social, i.e. in terms of SEM, SEO and display.
  • Handle select global events of strategic impact (key conferences, tradeshows, customer forums etc.)
  • Reinstall and further develop our corporate customer/guest hospitality program (wind forums, executive dialogues, technical due diligence etc.) as an integrated part of a targeted account-based marketing platform
  • Maintain and manage our corporate web shop, providing corporately sanctioned and brand compliant merchandise and giveaways to internal stakeholders for external use.
  • Handle and further develop key framework agreements (i.e. webshop, global stand design framework etc.)
  • Enable easy CVI compliance by maintaining both relevant content and templates on our Brand Portal, and a network of endorsed external vendors that step in when required.

Qualifications

  • Solid marketing experience, from both the agency world and from the business side
  • Proven experience with marketing in a B2B global environment offering complex industrial solutions
  • Experience with leading people
  • Very high proficiency in English (reading, writing, oral)
  • Experience with campaign management throughout the funnel, from awareness to conversion
  • Experience with campaign performance management, including establishment of standardised processes of KPI setting, tracking and reporting
  • Experience with a wide range of integrated media tactics, including both mainstream and niche media outlets, offline and digital
  • Understanding and knowledge of latest B2B marketing practices and technology

Competences

  • Ability to further develop and occasionally challenge the status quo, both in terms of content, collaterals, channels and deployment
  • Solid digital understanding and ability to think holistically across the various digital channels and platforms, targeting both internal and external audiences
  • Ability to handle external partners such as creative agencies, event agencies, media agencies and merchandise partners
  • Ability to lead teams at a distance as you will manage a diverse team at two separate locations: Copenhagen and Aarhus
