The ETiB Field Product Manager is responsible for the business management of ETiB offering at country level and its commercial success. The ETiB-FPM uncover sand understands customer needs and translate them into requirements. She/he has a strong ability to work well with internal teams, including central marketing, engineering & development, ensuring that customer’s requirements are fully understood and that country-based launch/implementation plans match expectations.

She/he understand, research, and follow technical trends in the ETiB industry and in general, is able to assess local market competitive situations, as well as make recommendations on how to best serve the local needs. She/he follows competitors, provide internal and customer trainings, answer incoming questions about the product and its capabilities, understand and analyze data pipelines, facilitate creation and maintenance of proper product documentation, and other sales enablement tools.

Your Key Deliverables

  • Understanding of customers, their markets, regulations, buying habits and pain points to help shape Eaton’s business strategy;
  • Develop and execute an action plan in cooperation with the local sales team and Business Developement to grow product sales (target specific customers, markets, channel, value prop);
  • Work closely with the sales organization and product lines to drive market research and collect costumer requirements Germany;
  • Full responsibility of local product launches, phase outs and related activities;
  • Ensure Sales enablement tools and material related to the ETiB offering and commercial energy storage of selected sales teams incl. creation new content and localization centrally provided content;
  • Deliver trainings to sales teams and customers;
  • Define marketing campaigns in cooperation with local and central marketing teams;
  • Take an active role in respective associations;
  • Provide insight to stakeholders on the product and market;
  • Manage all aspects of in-life products, including customer feedback, requirements, and issues in Germany.

Qualifications

Required

  • A Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Renewable Energy, Electrical Engineering with focus on ETiB, or similar professional experience;
  • Strong experience in renewables segment/Product management;
  • Advanced knowledge of commercial decision drivers within the segment;
  • Market and application know-how required;
  • Good communication skills, interpersonal skills, analytical and problem-solving skills; experience to work in a matrix;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong presentation aptitude Strong customer service and interpersonal skills;
  • Willingness to travel frequently (appr. 30 % - 50%);
  • Strong customer and service orientation;
  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability and an innovative mindset;
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment and autonomous in the day-to-day activity with a “hands on” style.
