We are looking for an experienced manager to lead our strong team of dedicated and highly engaged professionals within marketing and market intelligence. The team supports our sales organisation and have a key role in directing and further expanding our business within the energy business. The team’s responsibility spans the globe so there is a chance to travel and meet customers and business partners across multiple jurisdictions and cultures.
You will be reporting to the SVP of Global Sales & Business Development and be part of a dynamic management group in the Sales & Business Development Function.
You will manage the Business Development & Marketing Department and be responsible for the budgeting of the department. Most importantly you will be the main driver in developing and maintaining world class business development, market intelligence and strategic marketing in accordance with the strategy. In addition to this the perfect candidate will have a role as link between the Sales & Business Development and Technology & Solution functions together with our Sales Directors.
You have a degree in business, marketing or similar as well as a proven track record within B-to-B Strategic Marketing from technology-driven and project-based industries. Ideally, you have experience from the energy sector within e.g. biomass, waste-to-energy, hybrid power solutions or power-to-x solutions. Further experience using SDG goals as guidance for marketing strategy would be useful.
When it comes to undertaking complicated and strategic projects, you are a self-starter with drive, who welcomes the chance to take the initiative. Your positive, proactive approach enables you to take on a task and run with it independently and solve it in collaboration with others.
With strong interpersonal skills, you naturally develop solutions and seek engagement from stakeholders and thereby provide excellent service to the business. Besides your good collaboration skills you also possess strong capabilities to solve tasks based on an analytic and strategic approach.
Strong verbal and written communication skills within business English (other languages such as French and/or Spanish are considered an asset as well for this position).
