The Global Trading Business Line is looking for dynamic, motivated and determined people to insert in the structure of Global Middle Office and Risk Management.

What you will do:

  • Define integrated fundamental models and all analyses through industrial simulations for the elaboration of long term power and ancillary services scenarios and long-term risk measurement;
  • Define and implement the Capacity Strategy analyses to elaborate the long-term strategy definition of the Group;
  • Lead the definition of long term scenarios and analyses to direct the investment valuation and ex-post valuation process following all Business Initiatives up to Global Business Line Investment Committee;
  • Define operative timetable and manage the activities necessary to provide inertial perimeter gross;
  • Margin evolution for Global Trading Business Plan, coherently with official deadlines;
  • Provide analyses to support the risk assessment of the Group Business Plan;
  • Elaborate and manage the Industrial Plan for Italy and for all the Countries where a local Middle Office is not present.

Who you are:

A Master graduate or higher in Engineering, Statistics, Physics, Mathematics, Economics, Econometrics, with:

  • Good Knowledge of electricity and commodity markets and their main fundamental drivers;
  • Knowledge of power generation technologies and their roles within different markets (Energy and Ancillary Services);
  • Good knowledge of economic and financial valuation techniques;
  • Very good knowledge of Office tools (Access, Excel, Power Point, etc.);
  • The knowledge of probability and stochastic processes laws is considered as a plus;
  • Knowledge of one or more programming languages (Matlab, C/C++, VBA, Phyton, R, etc.) is considered as a plus;
  • Knowledge of new technologies/business like batteries or demand side response in considered as a plus;

  • Experience within Trading, Energy Management, Valuation, Business Development, Planning and Control, Risk Management, Research.
